Kohanga Ako camp at Living Springs

Olivia Thomas (LE) —

Kohanga Ako students had an awesome three days at Living Springs. Olivia Thomas tells of their time there.

On Wednesday 1st March we went on the bus to camp at Living Springs. We did lots of activities; swimming, hiking, archery and rifle shooting.

We learned a new ball game called Eddies Alley and some brave people went on the monorail.

We climbed up the bouldering wall and cheered for people who were feeling a bit nervous.

Hayley got stuck on a ledge and Mrs Turnbull helped her to jump down.

After tea we watched a movie called Hunt for the Wilder People which was funny.

There was heaps of yummy food.

We hung out in our bunkrooms with friends in our free time.

My favourite thing about camp was the farm park. I rode a horse, milked a cow and went on the wagon ride twice. I had an amazing time at my final camp.
