Riccarton International

Frances Couling —

Winter is finally here and the Riccarton International ski club as back up and running. Riccarton International takes students up the mountain once a week during the winter season.

Recently, six six international students from France, Korea and Japan went to Mt Hutt.

It's a great draw card for bringing some of our European and Japanese students. It also helps with bringing students of different cultures together with a shared interest.

Students are always super excited that you can stand on a mountain top and see the sea at the same time in New Zealand!

We're expecting more students to come in term three from Germany and France who have an interest in skiing and boarding.

We will explore some other ski fields in the Canterbury area, as such as Broken River and Porters.

Bring on some powder days!
