A warm welcome to Lulette Carnie, who joins us as the new Cultural Diversity Facilitator.

My name is Lulette Carnie, a new Cultural Diversity Facilitator (part time). I am originally from the Philippines and have been in New Zealand for over 20 years now. 

I have three half kiwi daughters, a 12 year old, a 15 year old and an adult. 

I am passionate about education and enjoy working together and collaboratively towards positive change. 

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a National Diploma in Counselling, and a National Diploma in Community Work, a National Certificate in Adult Education and Training, and a National Certificate in First Line (Business) Management. 

My work experience includes working for the government, not for profit organizations, tertiary providers and wider communities in areas of programme management, managing government contracts, team leadership, training and facilitation, consulting, recruitment, career development, counselling, advocacy, recruiting international students and providing pastoral care.
