The international department continues to hum along nicely. We are currently enrolling our 60th student for the year - Lorenzo, from Italia.

We are busy preparing for our second biggest intake of the year in term 3.  We will be welcoming approximately 17 new international students from Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, China, Brazil, Vietnam France and Taiwan – what a great mix of nationalities!

The International Ski Club is running again for the 5th year. We have managed one visit already, currently awaiting more snow.

As always we are looking for warm, welcoming homestay families to host our international students.  The school pays $265 per week for this and it’s an amazing way to “internationalise” your family without leaving home.  Lifetime connections can be made from this experience.  If you’re interested in hosting, short term or long term please contact Janet Bisley, Homestay Coordinator, at BY@riccarton.school.nz
