Foundation Day was celebrated with a full school assembly led by Mr Haywood. 

Four prefects from 2005 attended and Sam Perry and Stacey Walker spoke of their time at Riccarton.

Later, the staff celebrated milestones. Margaret Butler was recognised as a Riccarton Legend for her 25 years  of service to the school.

Noel and Rachael Hardie and Chris Daly became Friends of the School for their contribution to the school.

Former students Anika Tiplady and Darryn George were inducted into the Wall of Fame - Anika for her sporting achievements and contribution to the defence force and the community, and Darryn for his work as an artist.

Several staff were recognised for 10 years service to the school including Anne Roberts, Natalya Kammerer, Joe Gallagher and Janet Bisley, and Anne Jacques for her 20 years service.
