Congratulations to the following volleyball players who competed in the Oceania Volleyball Championships in New Caledonia recently.

These players all have a connection to Riccarton High School. Makareta Rademakers (graduated in 2012), Angus Gourlay (our Sports Coordinator), formers students, AJ Salmon (graduated 2016) and John Gibbs, and Mary Edmondson (coach of volleyball at Riccarton High School). 

The women’s team won gold beating Fiji in the final and the men's team won silver, losing to Fiji in the final. Makareta was awarded best setter of the tournament.
