The PTA would like to share and celebrate all that has been achieved in 2016.

This year the PTA fundraising has been achieved through the second-hand uniform sales and entertainment book sales.

The PTA has funded a variety of things for Riccarton High School throughout the year:

• Mattress protectors for all the beds at Kokiri.
  
• First aid kits for sports team and ground sheets for outdoor teams - 40 kits, 50 thermal blankets, 25 ground sheets and 60 ice packs.
  
• 12 Masks for the hockey teams to use during penalty corners.
  
• $1300 towards the fantastic new climbing wall
  
• 20 x Polyprop leggings and 2 bush shirts for Kokiri
  
• 10 x coaches bags for sports teams
  
• 3 sets of training bibs for sports teams
  
• Agility poles and agility ladders for sports training
  

In April we hosted a parent education night on addiction with our guest speaker from the University of Otago National Addiction Centre, Professor Doug Sellman. 

Anyone is welcome to attend PTA meetings. Our final meeting of the year is on 15 November at 7.30pm in the staffroom.
