Our first whanau hui was held on a lovely afternoon on the school field outside the whare. About twenty families - seventy people, came to celebrate the beginning of the year together, meet each other and share kai. 

Throughout the evening games were played and led by students. 

There was also equipment, such as balls and hula-hoops provided for the younger kids who came along with their families. 

It was a great event for everyone to get connected to others within the school community and our all-time favourite sharing FOOD and company!
