On Thursday 25 July, Riccarton High School held a community evening to present and discuss the drivers behind educational change and what that means for Riccarton High School.

Our Education Brief, created out of thoughtful consultation with our school and wider community, has given us the vision for moving forward with teaching and learning. 2020 will see a change in the pastoral system to help build a stronger diverse community, extended learning times for seniors to deepen learning and an opportunity for project-based learning in Year 10. These changes are a lead into the transformation necessary to meet the needs of 21 century learners and help to prepare us for the modification of our physical spaces as a result of our upcoming redevelopment project, estimated to begin early 2021.
