A team of three Year 13 students, Ruby Tan, Tina Lin and Aaron McInnes competed in the New Zealand Young Physicists Tournament (NZYPT) 2021 which took place on the 29th of May representing Riccarton High School.

The team worked very hard in preparation for this tournament and gave it all their best.

During the competition, they gave an outstanding presentation and opposed fiercely. 

After several intense debates, they came in third in the Canterbury region. 

The team is very proud of the achievement they’ve made, and is extremely grateful for Ms Napier and the teachers who gave guidance and advice throughout the process.
