RHS Senior Formal 2022

Hannah MacKay —

Our Year 12 & 13 students had an absolutely amazing time at this year's senior formal which was held on the last Saturday of the school holidays.

The thrilling four hours included plenty of photos, music, dancing, and fun. The theme of the night was Las Vagas Casino with the venue decorated to the nines, including playing cards, poker chips, and cool centrepieces.

As students entered the Rydges they got their photos taken by the very talented photographer before joining the party. Tables were scattered around the room and a bartender served non-alcoholic beverages to the guests. Food was served throughout the night with a wide variety of both sweet and savoury dishes including hot chips, sliders, sushi, brownie, cake, and so much more.

Music and dancing were a priority throughout the night and our very own Executive performed a dance of their own creation that wowed all. Stopping to take a breath and look around meant you were dazzled by the stunning suits and dresses adorned by the attendees. With people dressed so beautifully, there was a vote for best dressed giving us the formal King, Queen, Prince, and Princess. Our King was Gery Avila, our Queen was Kaylee Truong, our Prince was Isaac Weir, and our Princess was Maddy Lang. Congratulations to our formal court and to everyone else who made the effort to dress so beautifully and contribute to an amazing evening.

A big thanks to our Senior Committee for organising such a great night.
