Riccarton High School will be closing at 1:00pm on Wednesday 7 September, so that teachers who are PPTA/NZEI members are able attend a regional meeting to discuss the Government's current proposals on the resourcing of schools.

As most of the teaching staff will be at the meeting, the school will not be able to provide tuition during that time for our students. Therefore, all students will be released from school at the end of period 4 at 1:00pm.

Supervised study will be available at the library for those students who will need to remain at school until the normal finishing time of 2:30pm.

The Metro school runs operated by Ritchies will operate as follows:

• 761 – Kirkwood Intermediate to Prebbleton – Departing at 13:10
  
• 762 – Church Corner to Lincoln – Departing at 13:25
  
• 763 – Villa Maria to Lincoln – Departing at usual time of 14:40
  
• 771 – Kirkwood Intermediate to Halswell – Departing at 13:10
  
• 772 – Villa Maria to Halswell – Departing at usual time of 14:40
