I am floating the idea of turning the school garden into a Community Garden, where members of our community can come and work together to share in the food that is grown. 

At Riccarton High School we have a large vegetable garden that this year, due to course changes, is underutilised. 

Therefore, I am floating the idea of turning the school garden into a Community Garden, where members of our community can come and work together to share in the food that is grown. 

Somewhere in our busy city lives the skill of growing a garden is not being passed on to the younger generation. My hope is that this garden with your help could start to bridge that gap.
