Introducing our head students

Inise Manu and Tim Bridgman —

This is going to be a most challenging and exciting year for the two of us.

We both want to follow in the footsteps of past Riccarton High School Leaders. They left their legacy and we plan to leave ours.

We aim to continue from last year to bring increased unity to the school both culturally and between year levels.

Overall, we want the school to feel even more as one, fitting in with the Riccarton Way motto ‘We are one - he whānau kotahi tātou’. Helping us to achieve this goal is an amazing group of diverse prefects and their committees, as well as the never-ending support from our Principal Mr Haywood, Deputy Principal Ms Heald and our awesome Dean Mrs Ross.

This year the school continues to develop and improve Kokiri Lodge, the West Coast outdoor education centre, where our junior classes attend camps and seniors develop leadership skills. We are also looking forward to the school's production of The Lion King, in which Inise features, so be sure to watch out for that.
