Announcements were made in June, for the 2017 Canterbury Basketball Representatives Teams. Dean Brown (9MK), Dan Griebel (9MC) and Riley Holland (9MK) have been selected as players for the Canterbury Basketball Representative U15 Mainland Teams to play in the South Island Tournament in July.

There's only two teams (around a total of 20 players) for the Christchurch Metro area, so it's quite an achievement. Riley was also selected as training reserve for the U15 National Teams!
