The Concert Band have been working hard over the last two terms for the up and coming Concert Band Festival, which is being held on Sunday September 17th. 

After our fun times at the annual Concert Band Camp to Hanmer Springs in May, the band have been extending their repertoire to include some marches, some horror music, some film music and of course the Lion King Overture music which we played six times during production week at the end of Term 2. 

The band has been extremely lucky to have been lead by our wonderful conductor Mr Ian Thorpe who will be retiring at the end of the year. 

Rehearsals take place every Tuesday lunchtime. 

Due to some Year 13 students leaving at the end of this year I am looking to recruit new members who wish to learn the following instruments - baritone saxophone, trombone , tenor horn, french horn and tuba.
