On April 4, Miss Clarke and ten students from Year 10 attended the GRIP leadership conference.

The students had been selected after making a written application that outlined their interest and commitment to leadership in and out of school.

The conference included informative and inspiring talks on leadership as being transferable; as well as workshops on school pride, individual capacity, student involvement and team effectiveness.

The conference sparked enthusiastic discussions about our school and what possible changes and initiatives could be introduced.

These students have great ideas; hopefully this leadership opportunity will serve to turn these into action in our school and community.

Those attending were Ruby Ireland, Silas Zhang, Thomas Lethlean, Fonie Ka, Kayley Johnson, Carlo Querubin, Paige Gamble, Evan Ting, Peggy Tombs, and Keith Chand.
