Celebrating Diwali at RHS
One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance"
On the 22nd of October 2019 a group of our junior and senior students organised an event to celebrate the very significant Indian festival of Diwali, often known as the ‘Festival of Lights’. The celebration included an informative quiz on the meaning of Diwali, vibrant music and special Indian sweets for all to enjoy. A special mention to Sahiti Peddisetti for all her efforts and to all the staff and students who got involved in this celebration.
