Kohanga Ako Work Experience.

In Kohanga Ako we have two different work experiences in Term 1, 0800 Hungry and Arian Farm. Hayley and Cheyenne have written about their experiences.

I go to 0800 Hungry on Thursday. I go with Mrs Payne and New. We put food cans on to the shelves and pull apart the cardboard boxes and put them in the recycle bin.

I go to Arian Farm with Mrs Bowles, New and Aman. When we arrive we go to the office and sign in. The people at the office find Phil, he is the man that tells us what he wants us to do. Sometimes we go to the shed and get animal pellets for all of the animals. First we scoop the food into the small brown paper bags, then put them in boxes and give them to people at the office. There is a lot of animals - there are Llamas, Chickens, guinea pigs, pigs, goats, horses, sheep, rabbits and loads more. We sometimes pick up animal poop!
