A huge congratulations to the following students for their incredible achievements in the sporting arena:

Alyssa Whinham

Congratulations to our own Alyssa Whinham who has been selected for the New Zealand Women's U16 Football team to play in the International U16 Women’s Tournament in Weifang City, China.   Alyssa is very excited - “It will be a great challenge and a valuable experience that I have worked very hard for,  that has arisen quite unexpectedly.  Not only will I be representing NZ, but myself and everyone who I am thankful for that has helped me get to this stage.”

Spencer Lindsay 

Spencer has been selected for the New Zealand U17 Youth Development Team for Volley Ball.  Well done Spencer.

RHS Frisbee

Last month, eight Riccarton High School Students went to the National Youth Ultimate Frisbee Championships held in New Plymouth.
Everybody did exceptionally well and both of our teams made the final for the two divisions. The championships event was also used to select players into the National Training Squad - a short list for the New Zealand representative team selection later in the year.
Congratulations to Caleb Milne, Zach Hall, Emily McAuley-Scott, Michelle Lee and Sophie Rogers on being selected for the National Training Squad.  Great Job!
