Charlotte Wells was selected for a GirlBoss Edge: Technology and Enterprise programme this year, in which she was part of a cohort of 140 wahine from across Aotearoa who spent 10 days online, learning, connecting and being inspired.
Charlotte gained confidence through the career acceleration programme which aims to build resilient, energised female leaders.
The last part of GirlBoss Edge involved an engineering challenge, and Charlotte took on the topic of Covid-19 and fake news.
The innovative video that she created won her national recognition from Internet New Zealand.
She also won a cash prize and further mentoring sessions from the GirlBoss community that will help her to further develop her future career aspirations in the journalism sector.
