Christchurch Volunteer of the Week Award

In association with Christchurch Metro Cricket, Paul Bridgman was recognised as the first winner of the Christchurch Volunteer of the Week Award. 

Paul has been involved with cricket for the last 16 years as his three boys have played junior cricket and then for Riccarton High School. 

Paul has been more than a coach/manager during his lengthy stint. 

He has organised all teams at the school, arranged specialist coaches, organised training and extra pre-season sessions at the Lincoln Indoor nets and hired the bowling machine for players to train with.

He has built an excellent team culture through providing a BBQ lunch every week for the 1st XI and has helped organise the Riccarton High School 1st XI to play at the Willows.
