Senior Prizegiving 2020
Last Tuesday evening, we recognised over 170 students at our Senior Prizegiving, not only for their academic achievement and effort, but also for outstanding leadership, citizenship, and service.
It was wonderful to celebrate some amazing achievements with our senior students and their whānau.
Among the highlights were the presentation of 29 PTA School Service and Leadership awards to Year 13 students.
These awards recognise outstanding contributions to the life of the school, with each student exhibiting the Riccarton Way to a high standard, while giving selflessly to service and leadership in at least four significant activities.
The four supreme academic awards at the senior prizegiving went to:
- Ashlee Lee – The SG Henry Cup for Girls General Excellence
- Josh Bridgman – The JW Timpson Cup for Boys General Excellence
- Thane Tremewan – The Riccarton High School Award for Academic Excellence and the 2020 Proxime Accessit
- Jay Kang – The Top Academic Student and Dux of Riccarton High School for 2020
