UNITY WEEK / TE WIKI KOTAHITANA - Weaving people together
This week reminds us of the importance of weaving communities together to honour our common bonds and create a future where we all feel we belong.
The Sakinah Community Trust are working hard to promote the observance of cultural diversity and inclusiveness. This year, Unity Week NZ will run from 15-21 March and communities are encouraged to support Unity Week by organising events according to their needs, interests and strengths. - Wednesday 15 March - Futsal Festival
- Thursday 16 March - Share Kai - Long Lunch
- Friday 17 March - Share Kai & Kōrero
- Saturday 18 March - Walk the Talk for Unity Women's Volleyball
- Sunday 19 March - Picnic and Peace Train, Inspire 23
- Monday 20 March - Social Media competitions
- Tuesday 21 March - Race Relations Day
