Kia ora from the Careers Department at Riccarton High School

We are looking forward to being able to help all students with their future pathway decisions, whether it be through meeting with potential employers, talking to Tertiary Providers or writing their CV, we are here to help!

Parents and students can access careers information and resources at any time via the school careers website https://riccarton.careerwise.school/, so please check our website out when you have a spare moment.

Work Experience

We have several students who need a work experience placement as part of the Secondary Tertiary Pathways Programme. If you own a business or work for a company that could help out by having a student for one day a week for work experience, then please contact Jane Hall on 348 5073 ext. 835 or email her on jane@riccarton.school.nz.

Tertiary Provider Visits to School

During Term one, many Tertiary Providers will be visiting us and meeting with senior students to let them know what they have to offer in terms of programmes, accommodation options and scholarships. Parents and caregivers are more than welcome to come along to these sessions which are held during lunchtimes over in the Library. These sessions are advertised in the daily notices and Year 13 students have received a document outlining these dates also.

If you or your child have any career questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are looking forward to working with all our students this year.
