Farewell faithful servant
"Big Red" 1985 - 2019.
Riccarton High School said goodbye to our old Toyota Hiace minibus recently. "Big Red" used to be one of a matching pair and had taken generations of Riccarton High School students on arts, culture, sports and other field trips. In recent years it was based at Kokiri to ferry students between the lodge and their outdoor activities.
Sadly, time and weather have taken their toll so we have reluctantly passed "Big Red" onto a new owner. We suspect it will be donating its parts so that others will live - an embodiment of the Riccarton service ethic!
