Te Hononga Wairua Kapa Haka group perform on What Now to celebrate Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori

On Sunday 15th September the combined Kapa Haka group with St Thomas of Canterbury College ‘Te Hononga Wairua’ was invited to perform on What Now to celebrate Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori (Maori Language Week). The group had the privilege of opening the show with the haka they recently performed as part of their regional competition bracket. Despite the rainy weather the students were in high spirits and brought a fierce wairua to their performance. They represented our kura with pride and passion on national television and received amazing feedback from the producers and presenters on the show. Kino te whanau mahi!
