Year 9 Readers Cup 2020 Riccarton High competition

Year 9 Readers Cup 2020

We are super excited to be a part of the Year 9 Readers Cup again this year. Four teams met for a lunchtime quiz and The Cool Kids Club, Arabella Aitken, Caley Tee, Elizabeth Baird and Nicole Irving, won and will represent Riccarton High at the Regional Year 9 Readers Cup at Tūranga Library in August. The winning team is busy now reading the six books selected for Regionals, and will meet with 13 other schools from around Canterbury to compete for the regional title. The winners of the Regionals will go to Auckland for the finals. You might remember that last year Riccarton won the finals and were crowned New Zealand's Year 9 Readers Cup Champions. Last year's winning team are busy helping this year's team.
