Health & Physical Education Scholarship Hui
A group of five, Level 3 Physical Education teachers from around Christchurch have created workshops for our students who are wanting to attempt the Health and Physical Education scholarship this year.
This has required the teachers to collaborate outside of school to plan meaningful sessions which aim to give students the skills and guide them with their report writing.
The schools involved in the planning and running of the hui are Cashmere High School, St Andrews College, Christchurch Girls’ High School, Lincoln High School and Riccarton High School.
Each school hosts a hui every three weeks on a Monday night to guide students with their scholarship report.
There has been a great turnout so far and the level of discussions and collaboration is awesome!
This is something that we hope to continue on with in the future as there has been positive feedback from both staff and students involved.
