Readers Cup 2020 was held at Turanga Library. Nine High School teams competed from all around Canterbury. This year Cashmere won and Riccarton were runners up. Well done to our Riccarton team of Arabella Aitken, Caley Tee, Elizabeth Baird and Nicole Irving. Plus a big thank you to last year's team who helped them this year.

Thanks to Read NZ Te Pou Muramura we are excited to be hosting Slam Poet Daisy Lavea-Timo in September. Daisy will speak to two English classes and spend time with the Pasifika class.

Do you fancy yourself as a singer or rapper. Miss Howie has a mobile sound recording studio coming to the library for the last week of term. Come along at lunchtime and record your music. Watch the school notices for more information or email the Library to find out more.

Riccarton High QSA group have done a fantastic display in the library for the 'Out on the Shelves' campaign promoting our rainbow collections. Check out what the library has to offer.
