The Riccarton Way is the spirit, the wairua that underpins the way we think, act and feel about ourselves, others at the school and those in our local and international community.

Riccarton High School had two teams compete in this years EPRO 8 Science Challenge.

We are nearly finished the Year 9 camp season, and our students have been thoroughly enjoying the opportunities Orohaki provides!

For the past three years COVID-19 has prevented us running the senior Commerce field trip to Wellington, but this year we are finally back in business (see what I did there?) and able to visit our country's capital city again.

The international department welcomed two new staff members this month.

Students participated in many different activities and events during the holidays and the first few weeks of Term Two. These courses, taster days and work experience opportunities all serve to help students better understand what a potential pathway might look like.

A massive congratulations to Finley Smith who represented Riccarton High School in the South Island Trampoline Championships & NZ Secondary School Trampoline Championships.

This year's Aviva Street Appeal was held on Saturday 06 May and the RHS Service Committee jumped at the opportunity to be volunteer their time for this wonderful cause.
