On March 18th Rolleston College took part in Polyfest 2023. This was the first time our school has been a part of this event and the students did an amazing job! They have been very dedicated over the last six weeks with practices three times a week to prepare, and it paid off. The performance was amazing. Many of the students were nervous before hitting the stage, but gave it their all and left the worries behind as soon as the first drum beat sounded. I would like to thank Albany, Faith and Riki - the tutors from Tama Mai Saute Academy for their support, guidance and love. The students couldn’t have done it without you. We can’t wait for Sau Ia Fest in August and to watch this group grow in size and confidence as the year goes on.
