Selwyn District Council have lots of exciting things to do for Matariki 2020, 4th July to 20th July.

We have a fantastic App – The Journeys of Manu, where people can download the app and go to Foster Park or Liffey domain to learn about how the stars and seasons influence gardening, travel and other aspects of life.

We also have a fantastic Star Gazing in Selwyn guide, with maps for great places to star gaze, things to look for in our night sky and QR code which links through to Dr Karen Pollard – Director of the University of Canterbury Mt John Observatory, guiding you to find Matariki. 

We also have a QR code to Miriama Kamo reading her story of The Stolen Stars of Matariki.
