Kia ora. Born and raised in Christchurch and am yet to find a reason to live elsewhere. I studied at the University of Canterbury whilst balancing international level sport. I'm hugely passionate about athletics and have a strong background in touch. The last 6 years I spent at Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery covering a variety of roles. My subject areas are physical education, health and outdoor education. I'm also an ako coach this year at Rolleston College in Koānga. I love to learn and create positive relationships and am excited to continue that at Rolleston College.

Jasmine Robb - Music

Kia ora, my name is Jasmine Robb and this is my first year at Rolleston College. I teach Music, a year 9 Connected class and I am an Ako coach. My background before coming to Rolleston College is multifaceted; I graduated from NASDA in 2013 and began what was to be two years of auditioning and performing in professional productions and musicals around New Zealand. The lifestyle of a performer in New Zealand is rather transient, so I decided to settle in one place and create a career for myself that was more localised. Thus began the journey of teaching. For the last five years I had my own business as a private vocal tutor and I worked in two schools doing a variety of music teaching and choir directing (Westburn School and Chisnallwood Intermediate School). Additionally, I worked for my church part time running two youth bands and managing a music team of 40 plus adults. In my years of teaching young people I realised I loved what I did and wanted to devote my time and energy to one place. Last year I completed my Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, thanks to the support from my incredible husband Jairus. This year I was lucky enough to have found my first teaching position here at Rolleston College. While this is my first year teaching in this specific space I feel I have been able to find my natural groove and bring my wealth of previous experience and knowledge to this role. Aside from teaching I am a passionate singer, in my spare time I enjoy yoga, and my nerdy passion is that I am fascinated by anything end of the world/apocalypse (Especially movies and computer games!).

Frank Rzoska - Hard Materials

My name is Frank Rzoska and I am ecstatic to be teaching at Rolleston College. Teaching is my second career my first was as an Engineering Officer in the NZ Army. Prior to coming to Rolleston College I have been employed at Darfield High School, Linwood College and Hornby High School, in each of these appointments I have led the Technology Department. I feel privileged to be working with who I consider to be the preeminent Technology teacher in Canterbury, Mr Hobbs. Additionally, it is easy to be impressed by such a well-resourced and dynamic Technology team

I am married to Kathryn and we have two adult children and we live in the Selwyn District, Tai Tapu.

As far as hobbies are concerned my top two are quite divergent, namely motorbikes and gardening, both I find restful and support mindfulness. Closely following these two and mutually exclusive is an interest in Craft Beer.
