On the day of the career/apprenticeship expedition, I was hit with a phenomenal load of insightful information on what companies can truly have to offer in terms of one’s career path. For me personally, I really enjoyed shaking hands with everyone I was able to. Especially those from EW Smith Electrical, Penske, Komatsu, MSD, and Phil Hayes from Avon City Ford. I was ecstatic when I walked into the stool-filled auditorium, and started making conversation with as many people as possible. I think it was a brilliant opportunity for other learners to be exposed to the various ranges of employment options that are on offer, for those who are willing to take them on.
