Sports Leaders

Nic Pilditch

About me: I’m a very active and helpful person. Always giving new things a go and enjoy helping others learn new things, especially in sports.

Personal Goal for 2021: My goal for 2021 is to get an excellence endorsement and figuring out what I want to do after school so I have direction after school.

What I love about Rolleston College: I love how helpful the teachers are. They are always willing to put in extra time if you are struggling and actually want you to succeed in your work.

Tyler Iles

About me: I am a very sporty person, have lots of energy and am kind. I will give everything a try and love meeting new people.

Personal Goal for 2021: To be focused and sensible at school. I want to be better than last year. I want to make both rugby and basketball top teams.

What I love about Rolleston College: Rolleston College is very welcoming. The staff are very cool and the people make this place.

Arts Leaders

Cam Batchelor

About me: I like playing and listening to music. I also love football and am hoping to play for the school this year.

Personal Goal for 2021: To qualify for my club’s first football team again.

What I love about Rolleston College: Best teachers out there!! They care about everyone, include everyone as much as possible and don’t judge you - they get to know your story. 

Dominic Gray

About me: My interests are cars and painting, if I’m not painting I’m looking at or working on cars.

Personal Goal for 2021: My goal for every year is to improve my art ability and break past my artistic limits, by drawing or painting every day while improving on old mistakes.

What I love about Rolleston College: There’s a space here for everyone, and if there isn’t then there is the opportunity to make one.

Alyssa Parkinson

About me: My life revolves around musical theatre and music. I also love going to the gym and have been brought up in a military family.

Personal Goal for 2021: To strive as a person and leader in Year 13. I was to take the opportunities given to me and try my very best.

What I love about Rolleston College: The freedom to take control of your learning, to be an individual and part of all aspects of school life.

Cultural Leaders

Brooke Warwood-Smith

About me: I am passionate about my Māori culture. I really enjoy being involved in anything leadership. I love learning and participating in new cultures and languages, listening to music, and being a social butterfly.

Personal Goal for 2021: I want more cultures to be known within Rolleston College, and showcase the beauty our students and their heritage have to offer Rolleston College.

What I love about Rolleston College: The school may be very fancy with the latest technology, but what i love are the teachers, their passion for teaching is outstanding, they are always willing to go that extra mile if your struggling. You almost never see them without a smile on their face. 

Alyssa Nunez

About me: I really enjoy being physically active and culturally involve. I love playing sports, listening to music and learning new languages and cultures. I am passionate about volleyball, dancing and my filipino culture.

Personal Goal for 2021: I have two goals - one to be confident in my leadership and second to work to my potential in all that I do this year.

What I love about Rolleston College: The school has endless opportunities for every type of pass and the school focuses on helping students lead towards the future.

Alex Scrivens

About me: I am very passionate about the outdoors and enjoy finding ways to incorporate this in my art. I love learning new skills that improve my ability in different areas of life. I like to try new things and do my best to lead by example.

Personal Goal for 2021: To set the standard for future cultural leaders and take the kapa haka group to regionals with the Selwyn combined group.

What I love about Rolleston College: The flexible learning spaces and incredibly passionate teachers here at school are awesome. There are opportunities to suit any kind of student here
