About me: Ella Jarvis

Kia ora! I am very honoured to have been selected in this role and am so excited to continue to help create the culture of our school. I love to play netball and am really looking forward to representing the school in 2021. I really enjoy school, especially Biology and PE.

Personal Goal for 2021:

My goal this year is to learn more about myself and become the best self I can be so that I can influence others in a positive way.

What I love about Rolleston College:

I love that Rolleston College is unique and always strives to do the best for each learner. I love the systems that have been put in place to enhance wellbeing and create positive relationships between students and teachers.

About me: Caleb Smith

I am a very sporty person and love being active. I will play any sport and will try anything. I am honest, confident and try to be kind at all times.

Personal Goal for 2021:

My academic goal is to get Level 3 with Merit or Excellence. Gain my Full Licence. 1st XV Rugby.

What I love about Rolleston College:

The teachers are really easy to get along with. I love our amazing buildings that cater for a variety of learning. I also really enjoy all of the various sporting and leadership opportunities.

About me: Alessandra Ward

I am kind, caring and hardworking. In my freetime I am usually at the pool training or out with friends.

Personal Goal for 2021:

My academic goal this year is to gain Level 3 with Excellence. I am also hoping to attend the Junior World Championships for synchronized swimming.

What I love about Rolleston College:

I love how Rolleston College is so learner focused and that we are guided well on our journey through our secondary school years.

About me: Avelima Loua

I love to learn new things as well as helping people who are struggling. I also love sports - especially rugby, volleyball and athletics. I am patient and never rush into anything if I am not sure.

Personal Goal for 2021:

My personal goal this year is to focus on my academic achievement as this is important for my future pathway beyond school.

What I love about Rolleston College:

I love that everyone at Rolleston College is so welcoming and inclusive. I also really love the large number of opportunities on offer and that there is a great variety of subjects.

About me: Anika Gates-Thorn

I am a very sporty person and am passionate about rugby in particular. I am very family orientated and enjoy spending time outdoors. I am part Maori and love to learn about my iwi and culture.

Personal Goal for 2021:

My personal goal for this year is to make the Canterbury Women’s FPC team. My academic goal is to gain Level 3 with a Merit endorsement.

What I love about Rolleston College:

I love the modern facilities we have at Rolleston College that allow us to learn in a variety of ways. I also really love the connections between teachers and students.
