Roncalli Artists were very busy during lockdown

Lockdown Art

Being a practical subject and not always having the resources available to everyone, during lockdown we created a range of different art activities with what resources students had available to them.

Junior students were busy with various outdoor art making including creating messages of hope art works, for people to see when they passed their house, land art - making mini art pieces from their natural surroundings and re creating famous paintings in photograph form, with their own lockdown twist.

Year 10's continued to learn about photography by documenting their lockdown experience in a photo essay and photographing daffodils, in honour of daffodil day.

While seniors had been working hard on their portfolios, some also took time to practice their own art, such as Alexandra Darling who practiced her digital painting skills.

These, along with other art projects from this year, will be on display at the annual Roncalli art exhibition in term 4. Stay tuned for exhibition details.
