Up Coming Sports Information: Aoraki Athletics & Badminton

We have certainly had a very busy start to the year with students currently competing and representing the College in athletics, cricket, golf, rowing, swimming, tennis, touch rugby and volleyball.

We are also well underway in our preparations for our winter sports, with registrations, trials and meetings taking place.

UP COMING SPORTS INFORMATION

Aoraki Secondary Schools Athletics Championships

When: - Wednesday 14 March 2018 (pp date Thursday 15 March)
Where:- Aorangi Park All Weather Track

Students will be selected to represent the College at the Aoraki Athletics Champs based on performances at the school athletics sports held on Tuesday. Permission letters will be emailed home to those students who have been selected and have met with Mrs Cannell to confirm the events they would like to compete in.

Roncalli are hosts this year and therefore require a number of student and adult helpers throughout the day to assist with various tasks. We are only hosts every 15 years, so if you can spare a few hours that would be great.  As a host school one of our responsibilities is to provide morning tea for the officials and managers at the briefing at approx 9.00 am (food will be catered for). Help is required to set up the morning tea and serve hot drinks. If you can help at all please email Richelle Cannell - r.cannell@roncalli.school.nz
