This week we celebrate Blake for his wonderful service

Blake recently saw some rubbish flying through the air and it landed near some students, but those students ignored the rubbish - Blake decided to make a change, a very positive change.

This week Blake was nominated to Keep New Zealand Beautiful as a Tidy Kiwi on the month, in this application our Principal, Mr Comeau had this to say about Blake:

How do you fix the environment? One small piece of rubbish at a time. Blake Coombes can be seen most days picking up rubbish during his free time. 

Why? Because he has to? No, because he cares! Blake is a real good role model to us all and his actions speak volumes about his character and commitment. 

So next time you see Blake out and about with is bucket and stick, don’t just thank him for his service...follow his example. If we all do our little bit, imagine what we could achieve collectively.

Blake is one tidy Kiwi.
