Zac competed in the U16 men's re-curve division. The conditions were the worst they could be with wind and rain every day. However this didn't faze Zac, winning a gold medal in the Clout, a silver medal in the targets and a bronze medal in the individual match-play. Zac also claimed a gold medal in the two person mixed match-play with teammate Phoebe Newcombe from Auckland and a gold medal in the 3 person mixed team match-play with teammates Phoebe and Ethan Stichbury from Manawatu. Zac was also presented with the Robin Hood award for his single arrow shot from 120m landing closer to the flag in clout.
