This week for Junior Students

Mark Pribis —

This week will be the last week for our Junior Students.

Students will have a busy last week of school this week. Monday and Tuesday will be normal classes for student for the entire day.

On Wednesday students will prepare orchids and cards for our neighbours. This is our chance to say thank you for supporting the College throughout the year. Students will have some normally scheduled class in the morning and will go out and leave orchids on doorsteps during the afternoon.

On Thursday students will have a combination Carol Service and Junior Prizegiving.  Students will spend the morning preparing and rehearsing for the afternoon's event.  Junior Prizegiving is usually part of the school prizegiving event, but with COVID restrictions we will hold it separate this year and during the school day. During the day the Year 10 Leaders will organize activities in which all students will participate.

Friday, students will have an activities day for their last day. Students will choose from fifteen activities such as bubble football, ornament making, 3 on 3 basketball, fast 5 netball, chess, etc.  Students will have a sausage sizzle lunch supplied, but should bring a water bottle and snacks.

While it will be a busy week for our Junior Students, it should be fun and full of memories.
