Congratulations to our International students for organising the inaugural R.I.C.E.

On 1 August Roncalli College held its first ever Roncalli International Cultural Evening (RICE). Students from Girls’ High, Boys’ High, Craighead and Roncalli joined together to celebrate with music and dancing. 

The Kapa Haka group from TGHS shared some of their Waiata with us featuring our very own Momoka Kanai front and centre. 

We enjoyed Samoan dancing organised by a former Roncalli international student. 

Craighead Orchestra shared some more formal music and Daniel Lee from TBHS sang two contemporary songs. 

Some Roncalli students had the crowd on their feet with some amazing Hip Hop moves and finally the Roncalli 1st XV Rugby team performed a spirited Haka.
