Zac has been selected for both the Trans Tasman and the world archery Oceania tournaments this year. To qualify Zac had to obtain 3 qualifying scores in 3 different world archery accredited tournaments. He competed in Christchurch in October obtaining his first score and winning the U16 re-curve division. Dunedin in November, where the weather was continual rain, he still obtained another qualifying score, won the U16 re-curve division and won the match play (3 x 1 arrow shoot off against all other archers competing). In December he competed in Invercargill and in torrential rain claimed his 3rd qualifying score, won the U16 re-curve division and won the Tiger Lockhead Memorial trophy jointly for highest re-curve archer points. He also claimed a perfect pin. In January, Zac also went to the Nationals in Cambridge as part of his qualifying requirements so that the selectors could met him and see his shooting. He scored another qualifying score plus won 3 golds, a Silver and a Bronze medal and the Robin Hood award.

Congratulations again Zac and good luck for the next few weeks!
