“To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care.”

On Wednesday, 17 November, we will officially farewell our year 13 students. While it has been a challenging year for many, we look forward to coming together to celebrate each other’s company and our many blessings.

We will begin the day with a year 13 breakfast, prepared by staff, in the new Holy Family Parish Centre. Following the breakfast, Fr Mark Walls will lead the students in a final farewell liturgy. We will finish the morning with a re-dedication of the newly refurbished Hope Garden which is situated is a corner of the back field. The year 13 students chose to refurbish the Hope Garden as a gift to the College and to honour Rafael Darling and Jack Wallace who both passed away this year. This garden will help to keep their memory alive and to provide a quiet place for reflection and renewal.

I would like to acknowledge and congratulate all the year 13 students as they prepare to leave the College. I wish them success and happiness and I challenge them to live a life that makes a difference.
