The Roncalli Fair has been postponed until next year.

The Roncalli Fair has been cancelled for this year. Unfortunately, our latest lock down has caused several adjustments to the calendar for the remainder of this year.  While this is a major event for the College community, the uncertainty of having a large gathering and the preparation time needed to run the fair being eaten up by lock down, we have decided to not run the fair this year.  

Our major fundraising effort will be the PTA Raffle this year.  Raffle booklets will be sent home next week.  Each family is asked to sell one or more booklets.  If you return your sold booklet before 28 September you will be put in a draw for a $50 gift voucher.   The draw for the raffle will be held on the 10 of November.  

The Roncalli Fair has been the major annual fundraising effort by the PTA.  The PTA helps our school in several ways and is an integral part of the school.  Some events that the PTA organise and support include:  Open Day, Year 9 BBQ, Mercy Cup, refreshments for the College ball, the annual Prizegiving, the Fun Run, second hand uniform sales, and the College fair.

The PTA provides financial support for sporting and educational resources that affect all students including:  supporting the new Sports Centre, helping purchase the new sports turf, purchasing trestle tables, table cloths, an outdoor table tennis table, a drone, buying a coffee machine for barista training, snow chains for the College vans, rock climbing equipment, and many other projects. 

All in all the PTA has donated over $120,000 in gifts to the school and hundreds of hours of time in the past three years.  These events don't happen without the work of many people.   If you are interested in joining the PTA or if you would just like to support one area please sign up here.  Every little bit helps.
