Every year the University of Canterbury organises a dance project that is sent out to all Spanish departments in New Zealand.

A video with choreography is also sent so that each school can learn the dance, video it, and send it in to be mashed up and put on Youtube later in the year.

This year was special as the song was composed specifically for the project, and written in both Spanish and Te Reo Māori, with an emphasis on biculturalism. Students from Year 9 through to Year 11 participated in the video this year from Roncalli."It was a good way to bring Spanish and Māori culture together." - Iris Farr (Year 9)Link to the video
