Pope Francis has called a world wide synod titled “Synod 2021 – 2023: For a synodal Church: communion, participation and mission”. The focus of this synod aligns well with Our Faith – Our Futureas it is about mission and “walking together” and together listening to the Holy Spirit.

The first stage involves consultation with all those in our Catholic communities in the Diocese of Christchurch; parishes, schools, faith communities and individuals can all make submissions.
Locally, the Catholic Education Office has developed a simplified 10 minute survey for use within school communities to contribute towards the synod.
