New Zealand Secondary Schools Track & Field Champs were held in Wellington 6-8 December 2019.

Morgan Oudemans competed in the senior girls long jump and triple jump, coming 16th in long jump on the Friday. On the Sunday (in terrible weather conditions) and she only managed one legal jump out of three. This jump got her into the top eight, where she only made two jumps out of three. The end result was eighth overall which she is really pleased with.

Well done Morgan.

Gillette Cup Cricket ~ RONC vs TBHS

On Wednesday 29 January the 1st XI cricket boys played Timaru boys high school in a Gillette Cup fixture. Boys high won the toss and elected to bat first. Roncalli started off the inning extremely well having them four down for 43 runs after 11 overs. TBHS then dug in and flourished to score a very imposing 316 off their 50 overs, with Caleb Donaldson reaching a century. Roncalli had a promising start with the bat. Openers Toby Scannell, and Hayden Kerr had us on 41 runs after 9 overs. From there wickets consistently fell and we were bowled out for 142 after 42 overs. Hayden Kerr top scored a hard fought 33 runs. It was a tough day and a hard pill to swallow for the boys.
