A dedicated company of students from Roncalli College bring energy and vitality to the stage, as Singin’ in the Rain Jr. “pours” down delight.

This term Roncalli College will be performing Singin'in In The Rain Jr. Our students and staff have been very busy planning and rehearsing for what promises to be an exciting production.

Silent film stars Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont have made it in Hollywood, despite Lina’s tone-deaf voice! This all changes when competition arises with the new ‘talkie’ film The Jazz Singer. Things get interesting when Monumental Pictures need to find a way to make Lina sound as good as she looks, especially when this takes the form of emerging talent Kathy Selden, who ends up being Don’s new love interest. Drama ensues as jealous Lina has Kathy fired and the audiences find out the truth behind the voice on the big screen.

Packed full of energetic songs and dances, including “Make ’em Laugh”, “Good Morning” and the the ever catchy “Singin’ in the Rain” – the musical will have you smiling and humming along!

This is a musical for all ages, recounting old classics and new ones!

The production team would like to request Business/Family sponsorship for advertising in the productions Programme. Advertisements at a cost of $50.00 plus GST  will assist with printing costs.
